Project Goals
  • Development of modern curricula based on the real needs in practice (WP4);
  • Development of learning materials for new programmes (WP4);
  • Creating opportunities for continuous professional development through the realisation of corresponding trainings;
  • Development of cooperation between partner institutions in the project;
  • Creating a sustainable model of professional engagement of students through the establishment of partnerships with organisations;
  • Promotion of the project, issues and possibilities in the domain of WM to the public (WP5).
VISER’s Role in the Project

VISER actively participated in all activities, while its main role was realised in the work package WP3 through the following activities:

  • New approach to accreditation of the study programme Ecological Engineering adopted;
  • Informational-Communicational Platform ICT containing all information related to all entities on the territory of Serbia involved in waste management developed.

Two trainings were designed and realised at VISER in the form of a presentation before students, school staff and representatives of the economic sector:

  • Waste incineration in the Incinerator acquired through the budget of the WamPPP Erasmus+ project;
  • Production of biodiesel with the equipment for the production of biodiesel DeLorenzo acquired through the budget of the WamPPP Erasmus+ project.
VISER’s Main Project Results
  • Creating opportunities for continuous professional development through the realisation of corresponding trainings;
  • Two trainings designed and realised at VISER: ‘Waste incineration in the Incinerator acquired through the budget of the WamPPP Erasmus+ project’ and ‘Production of biodiesel with the equipment for the production of biodiesel DeLorenzo acquired through the budget of the WamPPP Erasmus+ project’;
  • Development of modern curricula based on the real needs in practice (WP4).

VISER has a new, accredited study programme titled Ecological Engineering. It is an undergraduate study programme of 180 ECTS with the first generation of students which enrolled in the programme in 2017/2018. In this programme, there are 13 entirely new courses related to waste management, now on the standard course list.
